Sally Misplon, the founder of Misplon Green Building Consulting, is passionate about the built environment and sustainability. With 10 years’ experience in the property industry, Sally has developed an extensive knowledge-base of building operations, management and leasing, especially in the commercial and industrial sector. She completed her honours degree at the University of Cape Town in BSc Property Studies and wrote her thesis on ‘Drivers in Green Building Principals and Practices in Private Schools in South Africa’. Throughout the past few years, Sally has gained extensive experience in the Green Star SA rating system where she contributed to the development and shaping of the Green Star Existing Building Performance Tool. Sally has been recognised for her significant contribution to the green building industry in SA by being awarded many Green leadership awards.
Sally has an in-depth, technical understanding and practical experience with the Green Star Rating Tools and is a qualified accredited professional for new buildings, existing buildings and interiors. Sally is also part of the Green Building Council of SA’s 3rd party project assessment panel.
Misplon has been acknowledged as one the leading green building consultancies in the Country.
